The new poster for JTBC’s upcoming drama “Nevertheless” features Han So Hee and Song Kang!
“Nevertheless,” based on a webtoon, is a hyper-realistic love story about Yoo Na Bi (Han So Hee), a lady who doesn’t believe in love but still wants to date, and Park Jae Uhn (Song Kang), a man who believes dating is a hassle but still wants to have flings.
On June 19, “Nevertheless” debuted a new love poster featuring Yoo Na Bi and Park Jae Uhn, foreshadowing the two’s charming but delicate connection. Yoo Na Bi tenderly buries her head against Park Jae Uhn’s back, creating a thrilling environment as Yoo Na Bi’s lips approach Park Jae Uhn’s butterfly tattoo on his neck.
The image is reminiscent of a butterfly landing on a flower, as if they could touch at any moment. (In Korean, “Na Bi” also means “butterfly.”)
Yoo Na Bi is not pushed away by Park Jae Uhn, who does not turn around to face her. They don’t look at each other while being physically close, and their gazes are loaded with complex emotions. “I know, but nonetheless,” runs the wording on the poster, implying that the two will become exceptions and variable factors in each other’s life.
Song Kang and Han So Hee will portray a realistic and genuine romance between two naive teenagers who are infatuated with one other. Park Jae Uhn is played by Song Kang, who is sweet to everyone but has yet to entirely give his heart to anyone. When Yoo Na Bi unexpectedly arrives into his life, though, he experiences a change in his emotions. Yoo Na Bi, played by Han So Hee, is a woman who doesn’t believe in love because her previous relationship ended horribly. Despite this, Yoo Na Bi is pulled to Park Jae Uhn, the flower that no one else can have, from the moment they meet, and she ends up soaring into Park Jae Uhn’s orbit.
Song Kang also said their relationship, “She’s an actress with a really excellent natural atmosphere.” It was my first time acting with someone my age, but because to actress Han So Hee’s compassion, I was able to act comfortably. She’s been quite helpful in enhancing our chemistry. When I’m filming, I’m always grateful.”
“As actor Song Kang’s bright and playful side overlapped with Park Jae Uhn, he became an even more charming character,” Han So Hee explained. I focus along with him when I see him entirely transform into Park Jae Uhn.”
The debut of JTBC’s “Nevertheless” is set on June 19 at 11 p.m. KST will air one episode per week for a total of ten episodes.
