Im Si Wan will reportedly lead a new series helmed by “The Fiery Priest” director.
On April 25, it was reported that Im Si Wan will be the main lead of the upcoming series titled “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.”
Im Si Wan’s agency Plum A&C shared their side regarding the casting news. According to them, Im Si Wan did receive the offer and he is currently reviewing it.
“Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” is a suspenseful youth drama that will tell the story of students at an agricultural high school in Chungcheong Province in the 1980s.
Im Si Wan got the offer to play the role of Jang Byung Tae, a weak kid born in Onyang in South Chungcheong Province. After he transfers to Buyeo Agricultural High School, his life changed.
The upcoming series will be directed by Lee Myung Woo.
There is no confirmation yet on the release date of the series.
