Cha Joo Young will reportedly lead the upcoming historical series “Won Kyung.”
On May 9, media outlets revealed that Cha Joo Young will be leading the new tvN K-drama.
Cha Joo Young’s agency Ghost Studio then responded to the reports. According to the agency, Cha Joo Young did receive the offer and she is positively reviewing it.
“Won Kyung” will revolve around Queen Won Kyung who joined hands with King Taejong Lee Bang Won 600 years ago.
Cha Joo Young got the offer to play the role of Queen Won Kyung. She is the daughter of Min Je and part of the noble family in Goryeo. She got married to Lee Bang Won who is younger than her and helped him conquer the throne. She desires power more than anyone else.
Meanwhile, Cha Joo Young is currently starring in “The Real Has Come!”
